The botanical palette brings together Verdara Lilac, Blossom and Wild Orchid, while Earth & Stone features Rose Sandstone, Cloudstone and Vintage Rose. Water & Atmosphere includes the fresh, luminous tones of Seafoam and Celestial Dew, and Light & Warmth brings Sunset, Peach, Sunlit and Tropical into the mix. These colours were created to feel discovered rather than simply coloured, drawing inspiration from the unexpected tones found in stone, sky, water, flowers and light. Every PRECIOSA Ornela seed bead color begins as a Natural glass color. For generations, bead artists have relied on these pure glass colors as the foundation of their work. Because the color is an integral part of the glass rather than a surface treatment, Natural colors are valued for their exceptional permanence and durability. They have long been the preferred choice for designs where lasting color matters, resisting fading, chipping, and bleeding while maintaining the beauty of genuine Czech glass. Many of the colors in the PRECIOSA Ornela Natural Collection are among the oldest in the company's catalog, representing the original Czech glass colors that helped establish a Czech glassmaking tradition admired for generations. These timeless shades form the foundation of the PRECIOSA color system, with many serving as the base for beautiful specialty finish options. For decades, PRECIOSA Ornela's Natural Collection consisted of just 84 timeless Czech glass colors. In 2019, the palette was expanded for the first time in many years with the addition of Opaque Pink, Opaque Lilac, and Transparent Lilac, proving that even one of the world's most celebrated bead collections continues to evolve. John Bead has proudly offered PRECIOSA Ornela beads for almost 75 years.
